Work continues....

More Detail Work

I forgot to post these the other day... Some shots of the details starting to take shape.  Once I'm done with the admin stuff for palace, I can get back to this.

Work continues...

The first shot is self explanitory, the second shot is how the cockpit looks with the fuel tank attached, the third shot is the details hidden by the fuel tank.

It's a balance issue...

What I did was rotate the drive housing and the power plant around 180 degrees and move the legs forward. Then I had to adjust the height of the cockpit's support to make sure i cleared the legs. Hopefully this should do it.

ok, a little more work on the sentinel, I bashed out the power plant, and the energy coupler to the drive housing.

A fighter Tutorial Takes shape

Here is the basic shape of a fighter I am roughing out for a tutorial project on 3d palace.
Its inspired by the F-302 from Stargate SG1 and the Douglas F-4 Phatom 2.  Will also have a big honkin canon like the A-10 Thunderbolt 2.  Enjoy.

Started the foreward Details, Its a subspace Comm Relay.... yeah, that's it!

Insomnia Strikes Again!

Ok, I suffer from cronic insomnia... So, in order to help quiet my mind down I tend to doodle.  Here is the begginnings of a new doodle... More to come.

Finishing up the hip joint... See a couple of things that need some tweaks though, like the linkage of the pistons to the hip and the bracket...

This is the leg from my imperial guard sentinel, Been working on it for a about a month off and on... Probably have to but it away for a bit as I have been chosen to be an apprentice Admin over at 3D-Palace.com. Besides helping to administer the site, I will also be creating project based, end to end tutorials focusing on hard surface modeling, detailing and other areas... I'm looking forward to this opportunity and I hope I learn alot. Plus all the projects will help me build up my portfolio.

Updates...

Well, still no work. But im hoping that will change soon. My Dreadnought met a nasty end at the hands of max... It crashed a couple of times and corrupted all the project files... then quit working all together... I ended up having to reinstall it... So, I think I will put that little project on hold and redo my imperial sentinel instead... Anyway, I'm alive.

So, still no job offers but at least unemployment finally got back to me... so I should have some money coming in...

Well, I have less then 200 dollars in my account... and no job or hope of a job... Rent is do in about two weeks... I'm SO SCREWED!

As some of you may have heard, I lost my job recently... but I have a lead on a better one... so, lets hope for the best. Cya

God I'm tired...

No updates for a while... just haven't had the time or the energy... We are short staffed at work and pulling a lot of extra hours. I hope to have something to show soon(ish) though, so if there is anyone actually reading these... stay tuned.
