How's it going?

Life is kinda funny, until about a month ago I had given up on 3d modeling and hadn't touched it or this blog in like 7 years.  But a couple of friends of mine (whom don't even know each other) both kind of pushed me back on the path at the same time.  I'm not going to go into it right now as it's not really a very interesting story.

Anyway.  I've been hard at work and have a few projects going.

Been awhile...

Been awhile since I posted anything.  Not even sure if anyone really reads these things.  But anyway... :)

I finished my latest tutorial about a month ago.  The Cylon Raider was a smashing hit.  So much so that it was pirated with in a week of being released. Hermes gets a face lift?

I had an idea that I would redo Andy Tubb's great concept the "Hermes" So I started out with the engines.
As I have been working on this I have also been recording it for a instructional tutorial on large surface greebleing, For 3d palace...  Enjoy.

I started the fine detail placement on the drive train as well as started to block out the Comm gear.  It's getting close!
